What is broken?
Your phone signs it. The network keeps it. Forever.
Use 5 or below for sensitive contexts. Higher precision narrows your physical location.
The network is writing.
Read. Verify. Co-sign. Three taps make truth.
You are #….
No email, no signup, no recovery. The key lives here, in this browser.
Your identity
Your ed25519 public key. This is your account. There is no email, no signup, no recovery — if you lose this device and have not exported the key, you lose this identity.
Relays
This client talks to many relays at once. Publishing fans out to all connected relays. Anyone can run one — see the run-a-relay guide.
Peer mode · v0.2 mesh
WebRTC peer-to-peer mesh. Your browser opens direct connections to other peers and gossips events with them. The network survives any single relay going offline.
Language
Switch the interface between English and Hinglish (Hindi in Roman letters — the way most people actually type Hindi on a phone).
Privacy
Your secret key never leaves this browser. The relay you talk to sees your IP — for sensitive reporting use Tor or a VPN. Geohash precision 7 reveals your location to ~150 m; drop to 5 or below for sensitive contexts.
"Phone-key se asli naam directly connect nahi hai. Pseudonymous hain — pakka anonymous nahi. Soch ke daaliye."

How sharing works: every report you read has its own permalink (the ↗ share button on each card). The whole network has one address — thecockroachnetwork.com. Either one, sent to anyone with a phone, gets them in.
About this client
This is a reference client for the Cockroach Relay Protocol. ~700 lines of plain JavaScript. Read it, fork it, host your own copy, replace it entirely.
