Lower precision = more privacy. Use 5 or below for sensitive contexts.

Your identity

Your ed25519 public key. This is your account. There is no email, no signup, no recovery — if you lose this device and have not exported the key, you lose this identity.

Relays

This client talks to many relays at once. Publishing fans out to all connected relays. Anyone can run one — see the run-a-relay guide.

Peer mode — v0.2 mesh

WebRTC peer-to-peer mesh. Your browser opens direct connections to other peers and gossips events with them. The network survives any single relay going offline; you participate in carrying the load.

Privacy: peer mode exposes your IP address to other peers (not just to your relay's operator). On by default so the mesh is alive from the first page load. Turn it off here if you're on a hostile network or reporting sensitive content.

Privacy

Your secret key never leaves this browser. The relay you talk to sees your IP — for sensitive reporting use Tor or a VPN. Geohash precision 7 reveals your location to ~150 m; drop to 5 or below for sensitive contexts.
